    WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

    We're looking for a consumer-minded, curious, can-do attitude, enjoys taking initiative, creative, collaborative and overall amazing teammate to help us obsess how we bring our product innovation stories to life at retail! We’re looking for an experienced retail brand marketing, people-first leader who can help us develop, adapt and implement retail brand strategies across our retail concepts (owned and key wholesale partners). A passion for sport and stores appreciated, and a dedication to understanding what makes our consumer connect with our brand in-store is at the core of this role. Retail truly is detail, so the ideal candidate will be very well organized, loves working in a fast-paced, ever-evolving, collaborative and love sweating the details of every touchpoint for our consumer! This leader will immerse themselves in the brand and business and constantly look for opportunities to evolve and improve the way we tell our product stories, all in an effort to connect with consumers and elevating our experiences in-store. The ideal candidate will have experience working in retail brand and leading happy, balanced, collaborative and productive teams. Ability to handle complexity and remain flexible, responsible and calm under pressure.

    WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

    You will work closely with the North America Brand Marketing team, Store Merchants, the Visual Merchandizing team , Partner Marketing and Store business partners to align on key seasonal product stories for the geo. You will be responsible for understanding both the art and science of marketing; obsessing the business, consumer insights and the creative ways we tell our product stories in store. As the retail brand marketing expert, you will partner closely with the concept marketing teams to assist in building the wholistic seasonal store brand plan across concepts and ensure that the product stories are properly represented. You will partner with Global, Geo and City retail marketing teams to set, adopt and enrich seasonal Retail Brand strategies that define the vision for product presentation, communication and consumer experience in North America. You will also work closely with the Retail Design team to build the vision for how the product storytelling and experiences comes to life in store. A key part of this role is to provide leadership, direction and mentorship to your team.

    WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?

    If this is you, you will report directly into the Retail Brand Director. You will be part of a team that collaborates daily with the Nike Stores Concept teams, Visual Merchandising, Stores Merchants, Partners marketing, Retail Brand Design, Brand Marketing, Global teams and City/Territory teams all with the goal to tell amazing stories, deliver impactful experiences and increase awareness and sales in the marketplace.

    WHAT YOU WILL BRING?

    • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Marketing, Merchandising, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. • A people-first approach that values diverse thought and is committed to building a diverse team. • Experience leading and growing a team. • 10+ years of retail brand experience (building and implementing strategies) • Large Fleet, vertical retail and store opening experience. • A strong understanding of the consumer, shopping behaviors and retail journeys. • A track record of implementing a test and learn offense. • The ability to fail forward. • Exceptional written, verbal, visual communication and presentation skills. • Self-motivated. • Excellent organizational skills. • Pro-active problem solver, with an ability to assess an issue and develop action steps for resolution. • An impeccable ability for balancing creativity with business needs, inspired by the "now and next" and keeping the consumer at the center of the work. • Able to work as part of a matrix, with an ability to collaborate cross-functionally towards a common goal. • Can-do demeanor with shown ability of adapting to change in business needs or direction. • A passion for the Athlete, Sport and Culture along with a sense of humor and humility - ensuring team success, while having fun. • Ability to travel 20% We offer a number of accommodations to complete our interview process including screen readers, sign language interpreters, accessible and single location for in-person interviews, closed captioning, and other reasonable modifications as needed.
