What you’ll need to succeed as a Truck Driver at XPOMinimum qualifications:Be at least 21 years of ageValid Class A commercial driver's licenseSafe driving record and historyCurrently possess or be willing to obtain hazardous materials, tank vehicle and doubles/triples endorsements within 90 days of employmentPass a DOT drug test and have no prior positive tests or refusals in the last 3 yearsHold a valid DOT Medical Certification Card or pass a company-paid DOT physicalAvailable to work a flexible schedule that’s up to 12-14 hours a day, including day, night and weekend shifts Preferred qualifications:Forklift experience About the Truck Driver JobPay, benefits and more:Home dailyExpected pay range: $29.19 to $36.10 per hour. Actual compensation may vary due to factors such as experience and skill set$2,000 in bonuses available Full health insurance benefits on day one Life and disability insuranceEarn up to 7 days PTO over your first yearEarn up to 6 days of paid sick and safe leave per year 9 paid company holidays401(k) option with company matchEducation assistanceThis is a Motor Carrier Act Exempt position What you’ll do on a typical day:Safely operate a tractor-trailer combination, including doubles and triplesProvide excellent service to customers, including generating sales leadsLoad and unload freight Truck Drivers are required to:Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights (frequently up to 50 lbs. and occasionally greater than 75 lbs.); move and position a converter dolly with an average weight/pull force of approximately 128 lbs.Safely climb in/out of a tractor cab/trailerSit for extended periods in a truck tractor and/or on a forklift; safely operate heavy equipment and a forkliftWalk and stand for extended periods on various surfaces that may be uneven or slippery (including working outdoors in inclement weather)Reach (including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneelOperate a tractor-trailer combination for up to 11 consecutive hours, in all types of weather, while safely transporting hazardous/non-hazardous materials #PIQ Don’t have your CDL-A yet? Eligible participants who are hired while the program is in effect will receive a $1,000 sign-on bonus, if you voluntarily terminate employment before 12 months of continuous employment, you are required to repay 100% of the sign-on bonus. If you terminate employment after 12 months but before 24 months, you are required to repay 50% of the sign-on bonus. The sign-on bonus will be paid in accordance with the Company’s payroll procedures on the normal payroll date following 30 days of your continuous employment. Current XPO employees are not eligible for sign-on bonuses. A $1,000 retention bonus will be paid to those eligible participants who are hired while the program is in effect and attain 6 months of continuous employment with XPO in their current qualified position.
