POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Talent Manager at Mythic Talent, you will be at the forefront of shaping the careers of our talents, fostering relationships, and driving opportunities for sponsorships and branded merchandising. This pivotal role requires at least 1 year of experience in talent management, with a preference for candidates who have worked in the entertainment or influencer marketing sector. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, a keen understanding of the entertainment industry landscape, and a genuine passion for nurturing talent.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Talent Manager, your key responsibilities involve leading Mythic Talents organizational efforts to provide world-class talent management to all creators exclusively signed to the organization. Here's a breakdown of your key responsibilities:

  1. Talent Development
    • Solo-manage between 15-20 exclusively signed talents on the Mythic Talent roster.
    • Provide strategic advice and opportunities for career advancement to talents.
    • Serve as the direct line between talents and Mythic's resources, ensuring they receive optimal and timely service.
  2. World-Class Talent Management
    • Represent talents offline at events and online for sponsorship tech checks and brand meetings when applicable.
    • Keep talents updated with consistent reporting and schedule updates.
    • Cultivate strong relationships with talents, understanding and addressing their needs and aspirations effectively.
  3. Sponsorship Opportunities
    • Assist sales in pursuing sponsorship opportunities for talents by understanding their content, rates, passions, and motivations.
    • Secure the most and best opportunities possible for talents.
  4. Branded Merchandising
    • Collaborate with talents to develop and promote unique and exciting branded merchandise lines.
    • Maximize revenue potential and build lifetime brand value for talents' specific audiences.
  5. Industry Insight
    • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to inform talent strategies effectively.
  6. Creative Brainstorming
    • Collaborate with team members to brainstorm creative ideas and strategies for talent development and promotion.
    • Contribute innovative solutions to support talent growth and success.
  7. Industry Networking
    • Attend meetings, industry events, and talent showcases to network and stay updated on industry trends.
    • Build relationships with industry professionals to stay informed

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 1 year of Talent Management experience.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Passion for talent development and the entertainment industry.
  • Proactive attitude and willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Familiarity with talent management or entertainment industry concepts
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and maintain relationships.
  • Deep understanding of the entertainment industry landscape and emerging trends.
  • Proven track record of successfully negotiating contracts and securing partnerships.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Passion for talent development and fostering creativity.
  • Flexible working schedule.
