Job Title: CNC Machinist
Job Description

As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and managing CNC machines, with the potential to handle multiple machines based on your skill level. Your department and machine assignment will be determined by your interview performance, aligning with where you best fit within the organization. You will be expected to set up machines, perform tool changes, and tear downs. Advanced machinists will have the opportunity to program and edit machines. Comprehensive training is provided to ensure you are confident in your role from day one, with opportunities for growth into supervisory positions.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines independently.
• Set up machines, perform tool changes, and tear downs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues.
• Develop skills to program and edit CNC machines.
• Train colleagues and assist in their development.

Essential Skills

• Ability to read gauges accurately.
• Experience in setting up machines and performing tool changes.
• Troubleshooting skills for resolving machine issues.
• Possession of a diploma is mandatory.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Davenport, Haas, Mazak, mills, and lathes is advantageous.
• Strong operator skills are required.

Work Environment

The work schedule includes 2nd shift from 3:00pm to 11:30pm, with one opening, and 3rd shift from 11:00pm to 7:30am, with three openings. The facility is climate-controlled, promoting a comfortable working environment. You will operate machines independently once trained, collaborating with your team.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Otsego, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43804.80 - $62566.40/yr.
