Job Description

Salary: $95,000 - 125,000 per year Requirements:

• I require candidates to have at least 8 years of experience in an Agile, highly collaborative, team-based environment. You should possess a minimum of 5 years of experience developing API and UI test automation projects. A BS and/or MS in a technical discipline, preferably Computer Science or Software Engineering, is essential. I look for expertise in Object-Oriented Programming concepts and design patterns, as well as a strong understanding of web and browser technologies. Proficiency in software development languages such as C#, Java, and JavaScript, along with familiarity with test automation frameworks like Selenium and Cucumber, is also required.

• As a QA Engineer on our team, your main mission will be to write automated tests for our API and UI layers using tools like Selenium. I expect you to work closely with our existing QA and development team members to deliver a comprehensive test strategy for our industry-leading SaaS application. You will also ensure that test plans align with activities across various development teams. Your collaboration with the Product and Development teams will be crucial in creating user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and building test plans. You will maintain existing tests and write manual and automated tests during feature development. Testing and validating software to ensure it meets requirements and is free from defects is key. You'll analyze the root causes of testing failures and report them appropriately. Integrating test automation into our CI/CD pipeline to enhance our speed to market will be part of your role, and manual testing will be necessary where automation is not applicable. I encourage you to make recommendations for improving our current testing processes and to mentor team members in testing strategies and automation design patterns.
