Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee the modernization projects of Elementary and Elementary Schools in Coachella, CA. This role requires daily on-site presence at both schools and is ideal for candidates residing in the Coachella Valley or those comfortable commuting from the Inland Empire.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Leadership : Lead and manage all aspects of the modernization projects, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and budgets.
• Team Coordination : Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and district personnel to facilitate smooth project execution.
• Compliance Oversight : Ensure all construction activities comply with local regulations, building codes, and safety standards.
• Stakeholder Communication : Maintain regular communication with the school district, project stakeholders, and the community to provide updates and address concerns.
• Quality Control : Monitor construction quality to meet or exceed industry standards and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Education : Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing K-12 school construction projects, preferably with Lease-Leaseback delivery method.
• Licenses/Certifications : Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
• Skills : Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Work Schedule : Full-time, on-site presence required at both Landau and Sunny Sands Elementary Schools.
