Job Description

Position Overview:

Our client, a major public sector organization, is seeking Project Coordinator with 10+Years of Experience to support the successful execution of various IT and business projects. These individuals will play a critical role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with strategic objectives. The ideal candidates will be detail-oriented, organized, and skilled in project coordination, communication, and administrative support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning:
  • Collaborate with business units, IT teams, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders to assist in the development of project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Resource Management:
  • Support the allocation of resources, including personnel and materials, to ensure availability and efficient utilization throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
  • Act as the central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. Organize meetings, prepare agendas, document discussions, and follow up on action items.
  • Project Monitoring:
  • Track project milestones and deliverables using project management tools such as Planview, Sensei, or Jira to ensure adherence to established schedules.
  • Risk and Issue Management:
  • Identify and escalate potential risks or issues. Collaborate with Project Managers and stakeholders to develop and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive project documentation, including meeting minutes, status updates, change requests, and other relevant records.
  • Issue Resolution:
  • Assist in identifying and resolving issues that may impact project timelines or deliverables, working closely with project teams and stakeholders.

Mandatory Skills and Experience:

  • Hands-on experience in supporting project planning and coordination.
  • Strong understanding of project scheduling, resource planning, and milestone tracking.
  • Proficient in using project management software (e.g., Planview, Sensei, Jira).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and maintain detailed project documentation.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Effective problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to issue resolution.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Visio for documentation and presentations.
  • High attention to detail in tracking project activities and deliverables.
  • Interest in professional development (e.g., pursuing PMP certification, participating in project management communities or learning opportunities).
