Dermatologist Opportunity Full Time | Department of Internal Medicine | Fort Worth, TX
The Department of Internal Medicine at JPS Health Network is seeking a full-time Dermatologist to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to practice in a supportive, team-based environment with a strong commitment to clinical excellence and community-focused care.
Our department includes over 90 providers delivering specialty care across the continuum-from the Main Hospital and Ambulatory Surgery Center to a network of Community Medicine Clinics. Current specialties include Cardiology, Neurology, Gastroenterology, Nephrology, Pulmonology, Critical Care, Endocrinology, Infectious Disease, Dermatology, and Rheumatology.
Job Summary: The Physician is responsible for administering and interpreting all aspects of patient care, including diagnosis, treatments and consultations within the inpatient and/or outpatient setting. This position will also educate patients about preventative care and prescribed treatments; may also conduct physicals, order tests and serve as a patient's healthcare provider.
Key Responsibilities: - Adults only general derm and surgical derm.
- Single clinic location in central Fort Worth on the main hospital campus just minutes from downtown.
- No call required (although opportunity for inpatient if interested).
- EPIC EMR
- Mmodal dictation with possible AI enabled scribe in the near future.
- Two staff-one LVN assigned per full time dermatologist and one medical assistant shared with another full-time dermatologist.
- Ability for Clinical Research if interested
- Staff assist with all patient call backs, results, and prior authorizations.
Duties and Essential Job Functions: - Coordinates the multidisciplinary care delivered to all patients, to optimize patient care.
- Reviews patient medical charts to diagnose, treat, and provide care management and education to patients and families.
- Makes appropriate patient referrals as necessary.
- Monitors guidelines for the management of care and for ensuring the services are delivered in compliance with the guidelines established by JPS Health Network and Acclaim Physician Group.
- Provides evidence-based and compassionate care to all patients as assigned to improve patient outcomes and increase patient satisfaction scores. Demonstrates patient centered and patient valued behavior.
- Maintains a collaborative environment with other referring physicians, residents, clinical staff, and support staff to provide quality patient care.
- Supports academic, educational and research endeavors.
Attends Performance Improvement Programs and Peer Review committee meetings; and is an active participant in the process. - Partners and communicates with acumen to build a positive brand and patient/customer experience for those who encounter JPS Health Network and Acclaim Physician Group. This would include health network staff, vendors, outside partners, patients, stakeholders, and local community leaders.

Qualifications: Required Education and Experience: - Current Medical Doctor (M.D) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree from an accredited school of medicine.
- Residency and/or Fellowship training within specialty.
Required Licensure/Certification/Specialized Training: - Current, unrestricted medical license to practice in the State of Texas.
- Board Certification or Board Eligible.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: - Must be comfortable working in a large public/county facility
- Must be able to demonstrate working knowledge in area assigned, and competency in assessment techniques, diagnosis and treatment processes that apply to the assigned medical specialty area
- Must have good interpersonal, verbal and oral communication skills
- Must be self-directed and take initiative to develop and participate in community activities and medical outreach
- Must be able to demonstrate patient centered/patient valued behavior
