Morning MMJ/Fill-in Anchor (4-day work week) Join to apply for the Morning MMJ/Fill-in Anchor (4-day work week) role at Buckeye Broadband . WDRB is seeking a Morning Multi-media Journalist and fill-in Anchor. This role requires a high standard of news reporting, storytelling, and investigative journalism across broadcast and digital platforms. Candidates should have exceptional reporting and photography skills, with the ability to work independently or collaboratively. The ideal candidate is creative, passionate, and able to dig deeper into stories, going beyond surface-level reporting. Our positive culture emphasizes teamwork, humility, and support. This position involves working weekend nights. Responsibilities: Write, shoot, edit, and deliver original news stories, including live reports, with energy and professionalism. Fill in as an anchor as needed. Gather information through interviews, sources, and community contacts. Use editorial judgment to shape content. Enhance newscasts with creative production techniques such as graphics and viewer interactions. Manage digital content, including social media posts with images and videos. Work 4 days a week, 10 hours per day. Qualifications: Strong on-air presence; live shot experience required. Ability to build community contacts for quality coverage. Excellent communication skills, adaptable and team-oriented. Videography and editing skills, with solid writing ability. Proficiency in social media and digital platforms. Valid driver’s license with a clean record. Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism, Communications, or related field. 1-2 years of professional live TV reporting; more experience preferred.
