Mid-Level Intellectual Property Litigation Associate – Hard Tech Focus | San Francisco, CA

An elite international law firm is seeking a mid-level IP litigation associate to join its San Francisco office. This opportunity is ideal for attorneys with a technical background looking to work on cutting-edge patent and trade secret disputes in the hard sciences sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support high-stakes IP litigation matters involving complex technologies

• Draft pleadings, motions, and substantive legal documents

• Conduct technical and legal research and manage discovery

• Partner closely with senior attorneys on litigation strategy

• Maintain direct client engagement and case management responsibilities

• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior attorneys and legal staff

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of experience in patent and trade secret litigation

• Background in handling technically complex disputes in a law firm setting

• Active Bar admission in California

• J.D. from an accredited law school

• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics

• Strong written, oral advocacy, and organizational skills

• Ability to manage deadlines and work in a team-oriented environment
