What you’ll do Design and implement security and compliance frameworks aligned with GDPR, SOC2, and internal policies. Lead security awareness initiatives and ensure company-wide training completion and enforcement. Collaborate with engineering and legal teams to integrate security into processes and infrastructure. Manage security tools (e.g., vulnerability scanners, MDM platforms) ensuring proper configuration and usage. Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability scans; drive remediation efforts with relevant teams. Monitor, investigate, and respond to security incidents, documenting actions and improving response playbooks. Own access management systems (VPNs, Jira, SSO tools) and enforce least privilege principles. Maintain and update security and compliance documentation, procedures, and audit trails. Track and report on data usage, endpoint security, and hardware enrollment status across the organization. Monitor evolving regulatory landscapes (e.g., EU AI Act) and lead the implementation of new compliance frameworks as needed. Provide hands-on system administration support, especially around secure configurations and updates. Act as a leader within the security and compliance domain, mentoring others and driving best practices. What you’ll bring Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in compliance, cybersecurity, or system administration roles. Proven experience managing internal and external audits, including preparation, execution, and follow-up. Hands-on experience with security tools like vulnerability scanners, MDM solutions, and endpoint protection. Familiarity with corporate IT policies and enforcement across departments and device types. Experience managing user access, VPNs, and tools like Jira or similar platforms. Track record of responding to security incidents, documenting impacts, and driving improvements. Proficiency in administering systems across Mac, Windows, and Linux environments. Ability to manage hardware security, including device enrollment and lifecycle tracking. Location: Mountain View, California, United States. Candidates must be based in the SF Bay Area or willing to relocate (on-site work in our South Bay office a few days a week).
