Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive and experienced IT Manager to oversee and evolve the technology infrastructure that supports our day-to-day operations. This in-office role, based in Austin, TX, will manage both the strategic and operational aspects of IT—including system administration, network infrastructure, end-user support, and IT security.

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with a service-first mindset, capable of delivering reliable, secure, and scalable IT systems. You will collaborate across departments and lead a distributed team of IT technicians located in Austin and Amsterdam.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all core IT systems and services, including:

    • Google Workspace (email, calendar, collaboration)

    • Okta (identity and access management)

    • Zoho (expense reporting and business tools)

    • Wi-Fi, VPNs, firewalls, and local office network infrastructure

    • VoIP communication platforms

  • Maintain hardware and software inventory 

  • provision and support laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals

  • Handle user account management, including onboarding, offboarding, and permissioning

  • Provide timely and professional support for IT service requests and incidents

  • Enforce IT policies and ensure best practices for data security, privacy, and compliance

  • Maintain accurate IT documentation and manage vendor and service provider relationships

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in system administration or IT support roles

  • Expertise in:

    • Network protocols, VPNs, and routing policies

    • Wi-Fi, VoIP, and wireless technologies

  • Experience administering SaaS platforms (e.g., Google Workspace, Okta, Zoho)

  • Strong understanding of computer hardware, software, and diagnostic tools

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team

  • High attention to detail, professionalism, and a customer-focused attitude

  • Energetic, confident, and reliable, with a commitment to continuous improvement

  • This position is full time onsite in Austin, TX
