BEPC has an open position for International Audiobook Content Program Manager in Newark, NJ!

Contract W2 Period: 9 - month contract with possibilities for extensions

Pay & Benefits: $45.96 – 80.38/hr. +Medical, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance

Description:

This is an exciting opportunity to work on the frontier of global audio content development and acquisition. In this role, you'll collaborate with a broad range of partners—authors, agents, publishers, and creators—to bring original, podcast, and book-based content to new international markets. Your work will be central to our client’s mission of delivering world-class storytelling to new audiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate rights availability and publishing dynamics to identify territories for future investment.
• Research and engage with content creators, publishers, and agents in key international markets.
• Negotiate and close high-volume content deals, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Manage post-signing coordination with internal teams (e.g., Editorial, Finance, Marketing).
• Develop concise, data-driven documents to support internal valuation and approval processes.
• Track and enforce contract terms and maintain accurate deal records.
• Maintain consistent messaging and policy alignment across global content teams.

Qualifications

Required:

• 5–7 years’ experience in publishing, media rights, business development, or digital media.
• Strong negotiation, organizational, and communication skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to thrive in a high-energy, evolving environment.
• Capable of managing cross-functional projects under tight deadlines.

Preferred:

• Background in both traditional and digital media environments.
• Prior experience in acquiring or managing audio content rights.
• International business exposure.
• Familiarity with Salesforce, Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, and project management tools.
• Passion for storytelling, audio content, theater, and publishing.
