At CHS, we are creating connections to empower agriculture.Summary CHS Is looking for a Hazmat Driver to join our team in Laurens! Our drivers are dedicated to delivering crop protection products to our customers locally and regionally. The typical schedule for this role is M-F, deliveries take place during daytime hours. Some routes are regional, meaning drivers will spend 2-3 nights/week in the truck overnight. -This role is eligible for a $3,000 sign on bonus. $1500 will be paid after 30 days, and an additional $1500 after 90 days.Join our team today!Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and on time deliveries to our customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws. To include but not limited to pre-trip and post-trip reporting, proper load securement and hours of service.
• Assist in the warehouse when not delivering product.
• Work extended hours in-season to meet business demands.
• Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions
• Assist warehouse staff and perform other duties as needed or assigned.Minimum Qualifications (required)
• Class A CDL -
• 2+ years of CDL Driving experience -
• Must meet minimum age requirement
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English and understand highway traffic signs and signalsAdditional Qualifications
• Hazmat, Tanker and Air Brake endorsements highly preferred (or ability to obtain)
• Must meet DOT and Company requirements
• Ability to work additional hours and occasional Saturdays to meet business demands
• Bulk liquid experience preferred
