As a Graphic Designer , you will bring that mission to life through visual storytelling, compelling design, and creative expression that resonates with our audiences. Your work will help internal and external stakeholders connect with Medtronic’s purpose and vision in meaningful, memorable ways. As a Graphic Designer, you will: Conceive, design, and lay out impactful editorial illustrations and creative artwork across various mediums. Develop interpretive themes that clearly convey ideas and complex information in engaging and accessible ways. Create graphic presentations and visuals that communicate mood, tone, emphasis, and viewpoint, helping to shape audience perception and understanding. Provide expert guidance and recommendations on graphic design tools, trends, and technologies. Partner closely with internal teams and stakeholders to understand project objectives, brand standards, and audience needs to deliver thoughtful, cost-efficient design solutions. Deliver digital assets including web graphics, internal portals, training visuals, and presentation materials. May provide input or oversee production processes including reproduction and printing through in-house services or external vendors. Must Haves: High School Diploma or equivalent with 6+ years of relevant experience in graphic design or equivalent experience, OR Associate's Degree with 4+ years experience, OR Baccalaureate Degree with 2+ years experience. Nice to Have: Strong portfolio showcasing design versatility across print and digital platforms, proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), Microsoft Office, and web-based design tools. Solid understanding of branding, layout, typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy. Experience supporting design for healthcare, medical device, or life sciences companies. Familiarity with video editing, motion graphics, or UX/UI design. Understanding of print production processes and vendor management. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with multiple priorities. Salary ranges for U.S. locations (excluding PR): $63,200 - $94,800. This position is eligible for the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
