Your day to day as a Elementary Japanese Immersion Teacher

As a Full-Time Elementary Japanese Immersion Teacher at The International School of Portland, your day-to-day expectations will be both engaging and rewarding! You'll begin your weekdays fostering an immersive learning environment where students thrive in their language acquisition and cultural understanding the the Primary Years Program and the IB . Each day, you can anticipate planning and delivering interactive lessons that stimulate critical thinking and collaboration among young learners. You'll guide students through dynamic activities, encouraging them to inquire and reflect on their experiences while cultivating empathy and respect for diverse perspectives. Your schedule will typically include a vibrant mix of classroom instruction, collaborative planning with fellow educators, and engaging with parents to support student growth.
