Job Summary
The DPS Partnerships and Engagement Manager leads statewide public engagement efforts to increase accessibility, foster trust, and ensure community voices inform public safety policies and programs. This position develops strategic outreach initiatives, builds partnerships with diverse communities, and supervises a team dedicated to engagement, education and outreach statewide.
**Hybrid Eligible:** Employees may telework up to 50% or more, depending on the position and the needs of the division. Employees who live 50 miles or more from their permanent work location may be allowed to telework more than 50% with approval from the division director.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
*Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Management, Law or related field may substitute for 1 year of experience; Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Management, Juris Doctor (JD) or related field may substitute for 2 years of experience.

Physical Requirements
Requires occasionally moving and transporting such articles as file boxes and heavy hand tools or heavier materials with help from others, and moving and transporting light objects frequently. Even though the weights being moved and transported may be a negligible amount, a job in this category may require positioning self to move to a significant degree or may involve maintaining a stationary position for extended periods. This position must possess the ability to travel around the state occasionally.
