Schedule Details

• Employment Type : Full-time.
• Work Schedule : 4x10’s from Monday to Friday with Thursday off.
• Shifts : Monday-Friday, from 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM 30-minute lunch.
• Starting Pay : $19.50 per hour, commensurate with experience/skill set.
• Location : Following the School-Based Health Dentist at various west side locations (Honaunau Elementary, Konawaena High School, Kealakehe Intermediate).
• Flexibility : Travel and flexibility are important for these roles.

Job Duties of a Dental Assistant

• Update and maintain client’s dental records.
• Assist the dentist with dental procedures.
• Take and process dental X-rays of patients.
• Provide postoperative instructions as directed by the dentist.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments.
• Set up instrument trays and prepare materials.
• Provide great patient care.
