Job Description

We're hiring a Content Marketing Specialist based in Sacramento who can do more than just capture content we need someone who can plan it too. Youll develop content strategies, create production plans, and then execute by visiting client sites to film, photograph, and produce high-quality marketing assets.This role blends creativity with strategic thinking. Youll need to understand each clients goals, tailor content to their audience, and keep up with whats working across platforms. Were looking for someone who moves fast, thinks clearly, and doesnt cut corners on quality.ResponsibilitiesDevelop content strategies tailored to each clients goals and audienceBuild and maintain editorial calendars and production plansVisit client sites to capture videos, photos, and other creative assetsDirect and shoot content such as interviews, behind-the-scenes clips, and short-form videosEdit and produce content for use on websites, social media, and digital ad platformsCreate basic graphic design assets (e.g., thumbnails, overlays, branded graphics)Ensure content aligns with brand standards and marketing objectivesTrack content performance and adjust strategies as neededCollaborate closely with internal team members and client contactsRequirementsBased in the Sacramento area with reliable transportationProven experience developing and executing content strategiesStrong video editing skills (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar tools)Proficiency in graphic design tools like Canva or Adobe Creative SuiteComfortable filming on DSLR/mirrorless cameras and using lighting/audio equipmentStrong organizational skills with attention to detailAbility to work independently and meet deadlinesExcellent communication and client-facing skillsNice to HavePortfolio that shows both strategy and executionExperience working in a digital marketing agencyFamiliarity with tools like Teamwork, Slack & Hubspot
