Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Commercial Tire Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the inspection, repair, and replacement of commercial truck tires both in the shop and on the road. This role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect, mount, balance, rotate, and repair commercial truck and trailer tires
• Perform road service calls to assist customers with emergency tire needs
• Conduct pre- and post-service inspections to identify potential issues
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Operate tire equipment and tools, including air compressors, tire machines, and jacks
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and inventory used
• Provide excellent customer service in a professional manner
• Assist with inventory management and restocking

Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of 1 year experience as a commercial tire technician
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in commercial tire service preferred (training available for the right candidate)
• Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required)
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work in various weather conditions
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to be on-call for roadside assistance as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

• TIA (Tire Industry Association) certification a plus
• Experience with fleet tire maintenance or heavy equipment tires
