Food & Wine is seeking an Associate Editorial Director, Food to oversee its food editorial vision and operations. You should have a strong foundation as a leader and manager, as a writer, editor, and multi-media storyteller, and have a passion for food and culinary expertise. You will oversee a team of food editors, develop and execute a strategy for best-in-class content and user experience to grow the Food & Wine audience, support revenue goals, and increase engagement.
In this role, you will report to and work closely with the Editor-in-Chief, Senior Editorial Director, Editorial Director, and General Manager. You will create a data-informed audience-driven food content strategy and manage a team of editors to produce high-quality content and editorial programs for all brand platforms including FoodandWine.com, the magazine, social and email channels, and other extensions.
As the food editorial lead, you will also partner regularly with shared digital and magazine teams including marketing, email, design, growth, video, food studios, social strategy, commerce, sales, print, PR, and more to support brand growth priorities. The Associate Editorial Director will feel extremely comfortable using data and insights to guide content strategy. Comfort working in a fast-paced environment is essential. They are responsible for managing projects to be completed on time, enforcing Food Department deadlines, tracking and analyzing content performance. It's crucial for this role to maintain a good relationship with the Food Studios through daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines and touchpoints. Good communication, organization and efficient time management are paramount to our success.

Salary: New York: $90,000.00 - $110,300.00
The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Dotdash Meredith's total compensation package for employees. Other compensation may include annual bonuses, and short- and long-term incentives.
