The Judge Group has partnered with a manufacturing client in the Clarksville/Russellville area to find a Senior Quality Specialist (Assistant QA Manager) for their team. This is a 1st shift role and oversees all quality salaried and hourly team members!

This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Manage quality personnel (salaried and hourly) at the plant
• Manage any changes or upgrades to the Quality programs from the senior leadership team or external parties at the local and government levels
• Assures all products are made safely and adhere to all food safety and quality guidelines at the company and government levels
• Manage Quality Systems: Holds, Foreign Material Issues, GMPs, HACCP documentation, and more
• Oversee the training program for all quality team members
• Maintain a solid relationship with USDA and FDA, being a liaison to the representatives and the plant
• Assist in the preparation for all Company Audits and responds to issues as needed
• Be the subject matter expert on all things quality assurance and constantly look for ways to improve the plant, processes, training, and food safety
• Partners with production, warehouse, maintenance, and HR partners on all product and employee needs and concerns

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree Required
• 7+ years of QA Experience overseeing salaried & hourly teams
• Required experience in food manufacturing
