An Anesthesiologist plays a critical role in the healthcare system, specializing in the administration of anesthesia and the management of patients undergoing surgical procedures. * Administer anesthesia safely and effectively during surgical procedures.
* Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as necessary throughout surgery.

* Provide post-anesthesia care and manage any complications that may arise.
* Stay updated on advancements in anesthesiology practices and public health guidelines.
* Engage in family planning discussions when relevant to patient care.
* Provide care in various settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, and outpatient facilities.

*Education and Experience:*
* Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
* Board certification or eligibility (BC/BE) in anesthesiology.
* Strong regional skills, fellowship not required.
* NC state medical license.
